Kenny is a journalist and writer with 30 years’ experience in UK national dailies and Scottish Sunday newspapers. He was a staffer on the Evening Standard in London and Features Editor on Today. He spent 10 years on The Scotsman and was founding Business Editor of the Sunday Herald. He was Scotland’s Business Writer of the Year in 2010, Runner-up in 2011. He is author of several books including co-author of Go: An Airline Adventure, with Barbara Cassani; author of Flight of the Titans, Boeing, Airbus and the battle for the future of air travel; and Destination Space, about space tourism.
He also penned Portraits of Inspiration, a celebration of Scotland’s entrepreneurs, was ghost-writer of Sir Richard Branson’s book Business Stripped Bare, and co-author of Be Silent Or Be Killed, with Roger Hunt, about the Mumbai killings in 2008. He lives in Edinburgh and owns Kemp Communications (UK), a writing consultancy. |
